Vegetable Beef Soup

Vegetable Beef Soup – 
Will make 10-12 servings – very low fat - takes 5-7 minutes to combine - simmer for a minimum of 20 minutes once you get it almost to a boil - can let simmer longer if desired. Reheats well. Freezes well. SHARES well! 
1 can Campbells Beef and Barley
1 jar/can tomato juice (tall can)
1 packet onion soup mix 
1 container beef broth 
1 can V-8
Onion powder to taste 
Pepper is your FRIEND - add any other spices your family likes


Add as desired:
1 can corn nibbles
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 can potatoes (dice them) 
1 can carrots 
1 can peas
1 can green beans 
1 pound ground beef or diced round steak. 
To stretch (make more): add more tomato juice, another packet onion mix, water to taste, beef broth
